Welcome to Noahgray.com!  On this new site, you’ll find me reporting on real-world issues affecting me and my generation. I’ve made it my mission to give young people a voice in the media and I have frequently appeared on CNN and other news outlets discussing the issues that are important to us and the importance of our role in voting and shaping the way America’s future will be run. I think it’s absolutely critical that the next generation has a voice not only in politics, but in the media as well. As it stands today, news networks don’t always cater to our generation, and it’s my mission to do something about that. This site will not only serve as my personal portfolio, but as an online destination for young people across America to read about and watch videos that directly relate to what matters most in their lives.

We all get tired of the news media sometimes. What to believe as truly independent news today is unclear in America. What’s opinion?  What’s news? Why is the news important? Our generation is constantly ridiculed for not caring about what’s going on in society, for not making an effort to become informed, and for not staying up to date on the latest news. That’s not always our fault: no media organization properly relates the news to us and shows us why to care. That’s why I’m starting a network for young people, by young people.  It’s called, NGN News: a truly independent online video news network targeting young people, bringing them news that’s relevant to them and showing them why they should care about current events.  There’s never been anything like it. With your support and following, NGN will become a huge success and mobilize more young people than ever to become engaged and informed in our society.

NGN is and always will be a work in progress. Over the next few weeks and months I hope my vision for the future of news, a future focused on our generation, will flesh itself out fully on this site. Other networks aren’t fully taking advantage of their unique and powerful opportunity to inform and captivate next generation’s leaders. I’m going to.

You’re a critical part of this conversation. I need you to interact, give us feedback, tell us what you want to hear about, and to share your stories and experiences with us. Tell your peers why to care, and show us why you care. I can’t do this without the next generation: you.
